My Little Angel

Tuesday, April 27, 2010

The bear got this plant from the nursery in Sg. Buloh during the past weekend. The nursery is located near the Sg. Buloh Hospital. There is a junction with a signboard Kampung Orang Asli Sg. Buloh where you turn in and there you will find lots of plant nursery. The bear have no experience or what-so-ever in taking care of plants. Wait, bear know how to water the plants. LOL. Dardar and bear didn't know the name of the plant. The purple flower actually looks like smaller version of orchids. Bear would have named it the 'Orchid Imitator' if he never found the plants name. But dardar heard that the florist at the nursery said that is a satay flower. HATE that name! Bear refuse to accept it! Therefore he went home to Google but to no avail. Dardar come across into a forum that discuss about flowers. Check out at flowers forum. Dardar then registered and posted it on the forum for answers. Two days later we got replies saying that it is a Angelonia. Some calls it Angelface or Summer Snapdragon. Cool name! Bear was so happy that it's not called satay flower >.<"

Bear also did some further reading on the plant. Apparently it loves the sunlight. Before that bear was afraid it would not tolerate the heat. They also mention that it gives out a certain apple or grape soda scent. Thanks to nose block bear couldn't smell anything. Aside from that, bear also planted 2 pots of chinese celery (also known as kint sai to most chinese consumers). They were bought from Tesco. Bear loves to eat chinese celery. It goes really well with steamed fish and Bak Kut Teh. Yummy! Caution to those that wanna get the seeds. Tesco sells them for a very expensive price. The nursery at Giants sells them at a cheaper price.

Last night at double 8 food court in Puchong, I am officially a photographer!
Now I am a chef. Some of you may like this authentic Chinese cuisine. I don't normally take interest in preparing chinese food you see. I prefer western food, but this gorgeous locked my eyes on him.

Dinner time! We only have one dish on the menu. Care to take a bite? :p

hmm... thinking what to eat...

Maybe roti banana...

I am soooo hungry...

How long must I wait...

Maybe I can have a bite at you~

Kai Zen Japanese Lunch Set

Friday, April 16, 2010

So the bear was up for some Japanese food for lunch yesterday. Kai Zen Restaurant is located in Puchong, some where near dardar's home in Bandar Puteri. Lets start with the deco of the restaurant. The design is abit too 'modern' as the sofas were white and the lights were 'western-ish'. Bear would prefer the deco to be more traditional with sushi table and tatami mat. Anyhow, the restaurant is cozy and comfortable. The service ain't bad either but bear would be happier havin' more men around if you know what bear mean =p

The bear ordered set 3 that consist of a bowl of spicy soup ramen, 3 pieces of sushi, watermelon slice and a plate of tuna mayo.

As for the sushi, the fish slice was really thick and well made. You could just feel every inch of the meat in your mouth. The fish slice also sticks to the rice. As some of you may know, the proper method of dipping sushi into the sauce and wasabi is not to dip the rice into the sauce. This wouldn't be a problem if you were using your hands to take the sushi. The real problem is when using chopsticks as the fish slice tends to fall off. Bear's previous visit to Sushi King was disastrous. The salmon slice as well as other toppings fell off the rice instantly like they were never meant to be together. This isn't the case with Kai Zen's sushi. Thumbs up for the sushi!

If bear is not wrong, the tuna mayo is made from fresh fish or at least they don't use the canned ones. Canned tunas has this strong odour that is not really pleasing and that was not present in the tuna mayo that bear had. The dish would be better if the bones were removed thoroughly from the dish.

Then we have the spicy soup ramen. For starters, it ain't really that spicy. Just spicy enough. Bear reckon that most folks will be able to tolerate it. You know how noodle tend to stick and stay the same shape after long storage? The noodles were tangy and didn't have that feel sticky feeling. They also include a wide variety of vegetables in the dish mostly those with a more crunchy texture. For those that really cant stand spicy food may choose other lunch set as they have non spicy ones too. The pricing is affordable given the portion and taste of the food. The set lunch are only RM8.50++ non inclusive of the tax. Worth every penny!

Just to update,I have gotten my sim card and the handphone is up and running. My home desktop has also been repaired but unfortunately some incident has rendered it sick again. Also thanks to the same person that my laptop went into hibernation mode. For the past week I have been attending to assignments, reports and examinations. Well, actually I am not really that busy. Just some excuse to pull myself away from blogging. LOL! I have been busier watching Heroes season 4 honestly. Other movies include The Blade trilogy and Clash of the Titans. The titans was in 3D with dardar and it was an utter disappointment. Lets not talk about that anymore. I have also invested much of my time in playing FB games (Mousehunt, Restaurant City, Hotel City, etc.). I am finally a Lord in Mousehunt. Hurray!

The T in this picture has been stolen!

My second sem second year is coming to an end. I have noticed a considerable change in the attitude and behaviour of my coursemates. Some have gotten closer to me. Some have learned to share even in exam period. Some are planting evil seeds but still dare to ask fertilizer from me. Given my current circumstances I am not simply giving out fertilizers any longer.

Lets put my coursemates aside. With the new batch of freshies coming in, I am expecting more candies for the eyes. This sem has been nice coz I have been bumping into a few cute guys during lunch time. Just heavenly...

On the New Sim Card

Thursday, April 1, 2010

Life without the device for instant communication has led to many problems. My SE K660i now is just an mp3 player with a few other features such as alarm clock, camera, planner and a phonebook. How is it possible that anyone could work their way in their daily activities without a phone especially now in our sophisticated world where a handphone is a neccessity. It has been 4 days since I had last received any sms. No calls as well. This is painstakingly aweful. With the presentations going on, keeping in touch with my team members is a must to ensure things are going according to plan.

The measures to overcome this disadvantage is of coz to fully utilize all that is remaining. I still have connection to the internet at the library and I can always message dardar so that he could help me send those sms. Given that my coursemates and I attend the same classes, we could always meet up before and after the lectures. Aside from that, I can also rely on my coursemates to send texts too.

4 days has passed. I wonder what would happen to WilliamNYK if he were to be in my shoes since he is a text whore. LOL!

I have to bare it for another 2 more days until I receive my new sim card. But there are certain things that I noticed during this duration. Life now is troublesome but at the same time peaceful. No vibrations. No ringtones. So quiet. It's as if I am in a different land right now. Cut off from the rest of the world. Listening to mp3 without anyone interrupting with those pesky messages.
